
Robert B. Zann, MD, FACSRobert B. Zann, MD, FACS is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University School of Medicine. He served his general surgery and orthopaedic residency in New York at the New York Medical College.
Dr. Zann received advanced Fellowship Training in Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Total Joint Replacement at the University of Southern California, where he was a clinical instructor. He has been in private practice in South Florida for over twenty years.
He has served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Bethesda Memorial Hospital and Chairman of the Department of Physical Therapy at Boca Raton Community Hospital.
Board Certified in Orthopaedics by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Zann performs over 600 total hip and knee replacements annually. Dr. Zann provides high quality orthopaedic care and serves as a leading educator of orthopaedic surgery technique to surgeons around the world.
He has been selected to participate in various clinical studies conducted by the implant manufactures to provide crucial data on patient results. These outcomes assist the manufacturers in providing state-of-the-art technology to the potential total joint replacement candidate.
Dr. Zann has been in private practice in Palm Beach County for over twenty-six years and done more than 10,000 cases. He is a member of numerous national and local medical and orthopaedic societies.
